First General Assembly Meeting held in Cairo 06/07/2017
It is the first general assembly to be held after obtaining Ministerial Resolution No. 1737 / D 104 dated 25/05/2017 issued by the Council of Arab Economic Unity, approving the Union's accession to work under the umbrella of the Council.
The Assembly was held at the Conrad Hotel in Cairo under the generous invitation extended to the members by His Excellency Dr. Mamdouh Rifai, President of the Federation and in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary General of the Council of Economic Unity Ambassador Mohamed Mohamed Al Rabee.
This meeting resulted in several decisions, the most important of which are:
Develop a plan of action to achieve the goals and axes for which the Union was established
Approving the financial and administrative regulations and organizational structures of the Union
Renewing trust in the current Board of Directors and the Secretary General of the Federation
