SPEECH OF HEAMBASSADOR MOHAMMED MOHAMMED AL RABIE
We consider the Common Arab Market as an
important stage that gives the Arab individual a strategic dimension in
determining his location from the global economic map.
We have important steps for this dream to
come true, represented in the Arab Free Trade Zone.
The new year comes with high hopes for
launching the Arab Customs Union, which is regarded as a significant mechanism
towards the Arab Common Market.
HE Ambassador
Mohammed Mohammed Al-Rabie
CAEU Secretary-General
SPEECH OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE EGYPTIAN CUSTOMS AUTHORITY
Subsequent toinducing the objectives of the
Arab Union of Customs Executives (AUCE) and its Memorandum of Association, it
is turned out that AUCE aims to contribute to the advancement of the common
Arab economy and educate exporters, importers and customs executives about the
mechanisms of work within the Customs Departments.
Undoubtedly, the Union will contribute to consolidation of customs efforts in
the field of combating customs evasion especially in view of the region's
establishment of the Arab Customs Union and the customs administrations to
adopt modern mechanisms that contribute to supporting joint Arab action.
Therefore, the Egyptian Customs Authority considers the importance of the
activities carried out by the Union and its impact on the support and
development of ties of cooperation between customs and the community of its
customers as the main partner of internationaltrade.
Dr. MagdyAbdul Aziz
President of Egyptian Customs Authority
Speech of the President of the Sudanese Customs Authority
The partnership between the Sudanese customs and the customs brokers is an old partnership, since the customs agent is the right hand to assist in the completion of the customs procedures, since the customs agent is the safety valve in the customs procedures, it must be characterized by integrity and transparency.
His Excellency Major General Bashir Al-Tahir
Director General of Sudanese Customs
Speech of the President of the Lebanese Customs Authority
I have to clean the paper environment of the complex customs procedures before the transition to the electronic environment, and in my view, the customs agent represents 90% of the electronic clearance and customs only 10% since the role of the customs does not exceed the role of control only.
HE Mr. Badri Dahir
Director General of Lebanese Customs
Speech of the Head of the Kuwaiti Customs Authority
I commend the great role that the Arab Union of Customs Executives plays in linking and developing the Arab economy. We here from Kuwait support the Union through cooperation with it in combating commercial fraud and achieving its objectives through awareness and knowledge through joint seminars, seminars and conferences.
His Excellency Mr. Jamal Al-Jalawi
Director General of Kuwaiti Customs
First Undersecretary of Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade
I would like to participate in the collective work between the Arab countries and this is what we are currently missing. If we participate, we will profit from exports and the Arab industry. Despite the difficult circumstances surrounding the Arab region, I am optimistic about activating the intra-Arab trade movement.
Mr. Saeed Abdullah
First Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade Head of the Agreements and Foreign Trade Sector
