The Arab Customs Brokers Federation signed a cooperation protocol with its counterpart, the Arab Federation for the Development of Industrial Exports, in Cairo on 19/12/2017 for a renewable period of two years. The cooperation aims to benefit from the advantages of intra-Arab trade agreements and activate them, encourage members to establish joint Arab partnerships and institutions serving the Arab citizen, adopt the latest technological means and electronic systems to achieve the best Arab economic returns and speed up customs procedures, provide real support to Arab customs in combating commercial fraud and tax evasion, and facilitate customs clearance procedures. It also includes organizing meetings and scientific seminars on topics of common interest between the two federations, exchanging expertise, and developing plans and future visions that support facilitating trade exchange between Arab countries.
The protocol signing was witnessed by Mr. Samir Abu Al-Nasr, Secretary-General of the Arab Customs Brokers Federation, and Ambassador Abdel Monem Mahmoud, Secretary-General of the Arab Federation for the Development of Industrial Exports.
