On the sidelines of the meeting between the Union and the Jordan Customs Department, the Arab Union of Customs Executives (AUCE) honored His Excellency Major General Ahmad Al-Akalik, Director General of the Jordan Customs Department. The recognition came in appreciation of his continuous support for the advancement of Arab customs work, his efforts in developing the customs system, and his ongoing support for customs brokers.
Major General Al-Akalik was commended for his commitment to improving the performance and capacity-building of customs brokers—recognized as key partners in the customs process—thereby strengthening the economic system. He was also praised for his dedication to enhancing cooperation with the Union in ways that serve the customs clearance sector across Arab countries.
For its part, the Jordan Customs honored the Arab Union of Customs Executives (AUCE) for its continuous efforts in supporting Arab customs work and developing customs executive.
