The Arab Union of Customs Clearance Agents participates in the 48th Meeting of the Arab Federations.

The Arab Union of Customs Clearance Agents participated in the activities of the 48th regular meeting of the specialized Arab federations operating under the scope of the Arab Economic Unity Council in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, upon the kind invitation of the General Secretariat of the Arab Economic Unity Council, and in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Al-Rabeei, Secretary-General of the Arab Economic Unity Council.

The 48th regular meeting addressed supporting the issuance of the introductory book project on the specialized Arab federations, in addition to proposals and studies submitted to the Arab Economic Unity Council by various specialized Arab federations, including a study presented by Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rafai, President of the Arab Union of Customs Clearance Agents, in the previous 47th meeting held in the UAE, regarding overcoming obstacles at customs ports.

His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Al-Rabeei, Secretary-General of the Arab Economic Unity Council, proposed forming a committee to follow up on the implementation of recommendations and decisions made at the regular meetings of the Arab federations. This proposal was well-received and appreciated by all attendees and representatives of the specialized Arab federations.

From the Arab Union of Customs Clearance Agents, the meeting was attended by Mr. Mohamed Hamada, Assistant Secretary-General; Mr. Mohamed Yahya, Member of the General Assembly; Mr. Mohamed Samir, Marketing Officer; along with representatives of the specialized Arab federations and representatives of member states at the Arab Economic Unity Council.
