Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan, Vice President of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Arab Federation of Customs Brokers, at the Chamber’s headquarters in the State of Kuwait.
The meeting discussed several Arab economic issues of concern to Arab citizens, including the challenges facing the trade and industry sectors in the Arab world, the obstacles encountered by exporters and importers, and the role of customs clearance in accelerating Arab economic growth.
Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai expressed his appreciation for the important role played by the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry in supporting the national economy since its establishment in the 1950s, and welcomed cooperation with the Chamber.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Al-Rifai presented a draft cooperation agreement with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aiming to achieve the Arab economic integration desired by citizens from the Atlantic Ocean to the Arabian Gulf.
The meeting was attended on behalf of the Arab Federation of Customs Brokers by Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Federation, and Mr. Salem Al-Ati, Kuwait’s representative and Board Member of the Federation. Representing the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry were Mr. Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan, Vice President of the Chamber, and Mr. Fahad Al-Saghir, Director of the Commercial Relations Department at the Chamber.
