Specialized lecture on how to deal with regulatory authorities in import and export operations, presented by Dr. Dalia Shehab, Head of the Central Department of Industrial and Non-Industrial Imports at the General Authority for Export and Import Control, during the third day of the advanced training course titled “Customs Procedures for Import and Export and How to Deal with Regulatory Authorities”, organized by the Arab Union of Customs Executives.
The course is held at the Union’s headquarters and online via Zoom, aiming to support, build capacities, and raise awareness among Arab economic operators.
The course seeks to enhance and build the capacities of customs brokers, exporters, and importers by familiarizing them with customs clearance procedures for import and export according to the provisions of Customs Law No. 207 of 2020 and its Executive Regulation No. 430 of 2021.
Additionally, participants will receive practical training on the applications of customs tariff and the Harmonized System (HS CODE). The course will also train participants on how to effectively deal with regulatory authorities, especially concerning industrial and food imports, to ensure smooth commercial
