The Arab Union of Customs Executives and the Arab Exporters and Importers Union Sign a Joint Cooperation Agreement

Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Arab Union of Customs Executives, signed a joint cooperation agreement with Ms. Amal Hassan Zaki, President of the Arab Exporters and Importers Union, at the headquarters of the Arab Economic Unity Council in Dokki. This agreement is part of the Union’s plan to build bridges of cooperation with specialized Arab unions to serve intra-Arab trade and achieve the desired goal of establishing the Arab Common Market.

Notably, one of the most important objectives of this agreement is to organize joint scientific meetings (conferences, seminars, workshops) on topics and issues of common interest between the two unions. It also aims at cooperation and mutual participation in exchanging expertise and developing future plans and visions to open markets and facilitate trade exchange between Arab countries. The ideas and proposals presented by both parties are intended to achieve the sought-after Arab cooperation in economic and investment fields.

Attending the signing on behalf of the Arab Union of Customs Executives were Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Union; Mr. Taha Qulisi, Vice President of the Union; Mr. Shadi Houshar, member of the General Assembly; and Mr. Mohamed Fathy, Director of Public Relations. Representing the Arab Exporters and Importers Union were Ms. Amal Hassan Zaki, President of the Union, and Ms. Rabab Al-Morshidi, Secretary to the President of the Arab Exporters and Importers Union.
