The Arab Union of Customs Executives participates in the 4th CEOs Conference 2017.

The Arab Union of Customs Executives participated in the 4th CEOs Conference 2017 with a delegation led by Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, Advisor Taha Qalisi (Vice President of the Union), Mohamed El-Shazly (Media Officer), and Mohamed Yehia (Member of the General Assembly).

The conference, titled “The 4th CEO Thoughts,” was sponsored by Al-Mal GTM Company.
Attendees included Minister of Finance Amr Al-Garhy, Minister of Planning Hala El-Said, Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange Mohamed Farid, along with around 600 business leaders, economists, bankers, and Egyptian government representatives.

The conference discussed private sector leaders’ outlooks on economic performance, sector activities, and their companies’ strategies for the upcoming year.

Sessions covered major sectors such as the non-banking financial sector, banking, industry, real estate, and entrepreneurship, with three sessions over the two-day event. It also featured a summary of the CEO Confidence Index report, prepared with contributions from over 50 journalists from Al-Mal newspaper, surveying 240 companies across various economic sectors based on their contributions to GDP.

Key figures attending included Ashraf Ghazali, CEO and Managing Director of NI Capital; Adel Moussa, Chairman of Misr Insurance; Ahmed Abdel Rahman, Managing Director of Samin Financial; Khaled Bishara, CEO of Orascom Development Egypt; Alaa El-Zohairy, Chairman of the Egyptian Insurance Federation; Hesham El-Khazandar, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Qalaa Holdings; Ashraf Sabry, Chairman of Fawry; Akram Tinawi, Managing Director and CEO of ABC Bank; Hussein Rifai, Chairman of Suez Canal Bank; Mohamed Fayed, Managing Director of Bank Audi; and Ashraf El-Kady, Managing Director of United Bank.

Also present were Ahmed El-Gendy, Co-Founder of Tanmia Capital Venture; Ahmed Taher, Chairman of Nook Mart; Al-Sayyed Al-Sammak, Chairman and Managing Director of Green Valley Food Company; Sherif Abdel Aal, Chairman of Pharos for Securities Brokerage; and Mohamed Al-Qalla, Managing Director of Cairo Investment & Development Company.
