The Egyptian capital, Cairo, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Arab Union of Customs Executives and the Sudanese Customs Clearance Agents Union, in the presence of Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Arab Union of Customs Executives, and Mr. Saeed Ali Mirghani, President of the Sudanese Customs Clearance Agents Union. The signing took place on the sidelines of the First Arab Customs Executives Conference held in Cairo.
Key provisions of this agreement include cooperation between the two parties in preparing studies on obstacles to trade exchange between Arab countries, organizing joint training courses aimed at developing and training customs executives, collaborating to activate joint Arab agreements, organizing joint meetings (conferences, seminars, workshops) on topics and issues of mutual interest, and granting members and affiliates of both parties discounts on training courses and workshops held by either party.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai presented the Union’s shield to Mr. Saeed Ali Mirghani, and likewise, Mr. Saeed Ali Mirghani presented the Sudanese Customs Executives Union’s shield to Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai.
Attending the signing on behalf of the Arab Union of Customs Executives were Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Union; Mr. Mohamed Hamada, Assistant Secretary-General; and Mr. Zuhair Abdullah, member of the General Assembly and the Union’s representative in Sudan. From the Sudanese Customs Clearance Agents Union, attendees included Mr. Saeed Ali Mirghani, President of the Union, and Mr. Badr Eldin Talha Ahmed, founding member of the Sudanese Customs Executives Union.
