Mr. Hamdiy Al-Tabaa, President of the Arab Businessmen Union, welcomed Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Arab Union for Customs Brokers, in Amman, Jordan, to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two parties.
The MoU aims to strengthen mutual cooperation between the two unions, support the development process in the Arab world, accelerate joint Arab work, and make a constructive contribution to attracting Arab investments.
In addition to enhancing collaboration through organizing meetings and conferences, the MoU focuses on sharing expertise, creating plans and future visions that will open markets and facilitate trade exchanges between Arab countries.
Key points of the agreement include expanding the activities of the private sector and Arab businessmen, opening new horizons for Arab trade, and facilitating connections between Arab countries through land, sea, and air transportation networks. The agreement also promotes developing and activating the work of the Higher Coordination Committee for Arab Joint Action.
The agreement was attended by Dr. Mamdouh Al-Rifai, President of the Arab Union for Customs Brokers; Ms. Rana Al-Jamal, Director of the President’s Office; and members of the General Assembly, including Wasef Shawafqa and Taysir Al-Khudari. From the Arab Businessmen Union, attendees included Mr. Hamdiy Al-Tabaa, President of the Union; Mr. Thabit Al-Taher, Secretary-General of the Union; and Mr.Tarek Hegazi. General Manager of the Union.
